I've enjoyed an eclectic career as a wire service photojournalist,
publishing house copywriter, music/drama critic, magazine editor, literary
novelist, poet, and fine arts photographer. My work appears in the academic and
literary press, as well as in many on-line publications.
1999-present Writer of short literary fiction.
Conceived of a new literary genre:
“imagenovel.” Completed two
books of an imagenovel trilogy entitled “Vittoria’s Island.” “Love Child of the Stars” is a
non-illustrated literary novel in progress.

1978 - 1990 Editor, Nuclear Notes, a weekly newsletter
published for nuclear engineers at Pennsylvania Power & Light Co. Provided highly technical information and
photographic coverage of the daily operation of the company's nuclear power
plant near Berwick, Pa.
1967 - 1978 Editor and
photojournalist for Fortune 100 corporate external publications. Olin Magazine, New York; Monsanto Magazine, St. Louis, and DuPont
Magazine, Wilmington, DE.
1965 - 1967 Copywriter, Doubleday
& Co., Inc., New York. Wrote promotion
copy to accompany serializations of
best-selling books for newspapers throughout the US.
1963-1965 Reporter, The Lexington (KY) Herald. Covered US District Court. Also was music/drama critic.
